Harrods unveil first phase of redevelopment

by Underlines

Luxury department store Harrods has unveiled the first phase in its womenswear redevelopment project, with the launch of two new rooms for customers to explore its range of loungewear and lingerie. The almost 16,000-square-footspace on the first floor of its flagship store in Knightsbridge, which used to house swim and knitwear will host FALKE, as well 46 other brands including Olivia Von Halle, Sleeper, Desmond & Dempsey and Aubade’s Elie Saab collaboration. FALKE are excited to be a part of Harrods new womenswear redevelopment project, as a retail launch partner for underwear and loungewear.

Founded in 1895, FALKE is an internationally renowned German brand, still operated by the FALKE family to this day. Stephen Honour, Commercial Director at FALKE said:

Here at FALKE we are delighted to be a part of Harrods redevelopment project and are excited to sit amongst an array of likeminded luxury brands.”

The sheer size of the department also allows for expansive and less-cluttered spaces, bigger and more comfortable fitting rooms, a private fitting suite, plus VIP and bespoke services.
