The CALIDA Autumn/Winter 2021 collection focuses more than ever on comfort. Comfort on your skin, comfort with yourself, comfort at home, comfort in harmony with nature. The daywear, sleepwear and loungewear styles from the new collection are all bursting with feel-good factor thanks to their sustainable high-quality materials with functional features, uncompromising comfort and innovative design.
Highlights of the AW21 collection are the newly created HOME HUB Collection, offering a comfortable and well-groomed home office look that is also suitable for wearing out and about; the new ECO SENSE daywear line made from ECONYL®, featuring five bra styles and a spaghetti top, as well as the further expansion of the Cradle to Cradle Certified™ 100% NATURE series. Cradle to Cradle Certified™ defines recyclable products, meaning that their raw materials can be used time and again in an ongoing biological cycle. Unlike in conventional recycling, the production techniques, usage and recycling of these products are designed so that the quality of the raw materials remains intact over multiple life cycles. At the end of each life cycle, the items are broken down into valuable organic nutrients and the raw materials that grow as a result can then be used to produce new products.
The 100% NATURE daywear series gets a colour update, with a dark and elegant shade of plum, as well as seasonal colours such as delicate blue and a flattering gold honey tone. The loungewear styles play with an opulent mandala print, which features various earthy and nude tones, along with mint accents to add a little freshness, with intricate decorative details such as paperbag waistbands, contrasting panels and piping for a special touch.
The mens 100% NATURE Basic daywear range is being expanded to include a business shirt with a deep V-neck, designed to be invisible under a business suit and featuring innovative, functional underarm inserts and cut edges to prevent sweat stains. The popular boxer briefs and boxer shorts get an autumnal colour update, with a nature-inspired leaf motif in a combination of blue and green – which matches perfectly with the T-shirt in classic dark blue. The range of 100% NATURE sleepwear styles is expanded to include cuffed pyjamas in dark blue with green accents on the shoulders and pockets.
