Leading UK lingerie design house Aura Lingerie have launched their first direct to customer label, Beija Flor Lingerie, the result of a sister collaboration between Abbie Miranda and Mazie Gardner. Beija Flor benefits from Aura Lingerie’s expertise in design and manufacture for some of the UK’s biggest high street chains and luxury labels, and was based on the ethos that ‘one size does not fit all’.
The AW16 collection ‘Without Exception’ was divided into nine mini collections featuring three different bra styles each, made to celebrate and give each woman confidence whatever their cup size, plus a collection of briefs in 4 timeless styles. Beija Flor Lingerie caters to an AA – G cup, with shapes divided into the X category (AA – B cup), the Y category (B – D cup) and the Z category (DD – G cup).
Design details include folded fabric on thongs and knickers for luxury and minimum VPL, wider thong waistbands for comfort, and the ‘Limbo String’ g-string that can be adjusted for the perfect fit. Abbie Miranda comments: “We are thrilled to be bringing Beija Flor to market in January. Our brand ethos centres around celebrating your size and we are enabling our customers to do this with sporty, ultra chic, modern underwear that is comfortable and looks incredible.”
