The latest Palindrome collection takes inspiration from Alfred Hitchcock film Rebecca, where the Cornish coast Manderley estate looks like a dream but unravels into a nightmare, harnessing this balance between innocence and malignancy with a brooding colour palette. Misty florals blossom from dark backgrounds into a riot of neon strobe stripes, digital prints work back with block colours of inky navy and oxblood reds, while unexpected details add a sense of flirtation to each luxurious garment.
The Autumn/Winter 2016 season sees an expansion of the Loungewear range introducing Rompers, French Shorts and a Bodysuit to Palindrome. The ‘Manderley’ collection also features Maxi, Cheeky and String Briefs as well as Balconette, Push Up and Soft Cup Bras, sold separately to encourage a mix and match approach.
“Palindrome is about being contemporary and recognising what our girl wants to wear underneath her fashion choices. I’m always thinking about the end-use of a garment and looking at ways to create lingerie that compliment her body as well as her outfit. Palindrome is a labour of love, fusing the chic, feminine and modern together with superior fit and luxe details” said Marie Savvas, Designer at Palindrome.
