Yawn shortlisted for Best New Brand by Drapers

Yawn are celebrating being shortlisted for ‘Best New Brand’ by an illustrious panel of industry experts for the 2018’s Drapers Independents Awards. The awards celebrate the most influential new fashion brands and respected independent retailers, set up to congratulate businesses changing the landscape of fashion. Yawn is up against other brilliant newcomers from across the fashion industry and is the only nightwear brand to have been nominated in this category.

Since launching in 2014, Yawn’s dedication to their customers, stockists and slow-growth approach has been recognised as the business grows from strength to strength. Alice Whiteley, Founder and Managing Director said: “The nightwear market is huge and dominated by well financed major conglomerates who have huge economies of sale. In this David and Goliath style situation, our strategy is to emphasise our brand differences and be a nimble “challenger brand” – while recognising we will need a lot of patience and determination.”

The winners will be announced at a lunchtime awards ceremony at The Brewery in London, 12th September 2018.
