Results from this year’s CoolBrands competition are in and Damaris was chosen as one of the UK’s coolest brands. The 2015/2016 CoolBrands list, which also included Agent Provocateur (winner in the Lingerie category), Net-A-Porter (winner in the Fashion Retail category), Coco de Mer, Fred & Ginger, Freya, Kriss Soonik and La Perla, is the result of an extensive voting process involving 36 opinion formers which included musician Ella Eyre, BFC Chief Executive Caroline Rush and leading Editors from publications such as Elle Decoration and In-Style and 2,500 members of the public.
Stephen Cheliotis, Chairman of the CoolBrands Council said: “Competition for attention is vital for a company’s success and owning a brand that is seen to be innovative, original, desirable and authentic can definitely help drive positive perceptions and, ultimately, loyalty and sales. For Damaris to be voted a CoolBrand is a real boon to the business, its employees and, of course, its owners. This voting should boost confidence in their future outlook as well as recognising their recent achievements”.
