Lingerie and swimwear company LASCANA followed its slogan “It’s a woman’s world” and completely dedicated its recent campaign to the women’s world. With the help of German supermodel Sara Nuru with Ethiopian roots, LASCANA picked 12 girls from all over the world to represent the variety and beauty of different nations, breaking with the standardized look of the fashion industry and showing the various facets of their beauty.

Over 1,000 candidates from more than 60 countries applied and in the 21th of September LASCANA invited the top 24 to the final casting in the Mount Ray Studios in Hamburg. The jury comprised five fashion experts: Sara Nuru, Ted Linow, owner of the model agency Mega Model, hair expert Marlies Möller, the fashion photographer Tim Petersen and Sarah Rissen, head of LASCANA Marketing.

The 12 winners are:

  1. Franziska from Hungary/ Germany
