Bravissimo is excited to announce its latest innovation in lingerie technology: a new and improved bra underwire to help support even more women. This breakthrough design was created to give women who are J+ cup more choice and an improved fit, using customer feedback as a guide to create a new wire that allows enough space for bigger boobs to fit into the cups properly, ensuring a great fit.
Bravissimo Technical Manager Paula Skarratt, who lead the project, said: “We investigated lots of different fabrics to find the right balance between stretch and support to keep Bravissimo girls feeling secure and comfy too! The new wires mean there’s more space in the cups, so your boobs are fully encased. This gives a more uplifted, rounded shape and prevents any over-spillage!”
Big-boobed Bravissimo team members were also part of the tests and trials to help perfect the new design. Customer Team Service Manager, Tegan, shared her experience with the new underwire: “I’m a 36KK and, thanks to the new wires, I can now fit in Bravissimo brand bras for the first time. The new fit feels amazing! The wires sit flat (where they’re supposed to!) and there’s no overspill – I feel so supported. I love all the uplift and the forward-facing shape. I’ve never had so much choice above a J cup! Each style with the new-shaped wires brings something unique to my bra-drobe so I have lots of options for different looks!”
Bravissimo styles with the new and improved J+ cup wire:
- Bravissimo Mabel Bra (available in DD-L) – A full cup style made with soft fabric, straps and elastic for extra comfort, without compromising on support. Mabel has centred straps which is great for women who find their straps slip down.
- Bravissimo Zadie Bra (available in FF-L) – Zadie is a great option for women looking for a bra with lots support and coverage, with an added statement. The cups have a slide sling which gives boobs an upfront, rounded shape.
- Bravissimo Jenna Bra (available in DD-L) – A non-padded balconette with a magnetic clasp that is easy to fasten. The lace detail on the back can be shown off under tops or kept under wraps. The halter shape is a good option for women who find that their straps slip down or dig in, as the straps are centred.
