On October 19, coinciding with International Breast Cancer Day, the We Swim Together charity fashion show took place as part of the Gran Canaria Swim Week by Moda Cálida calendar. The event highlighted the brands and collections launching swimwear adapted for women who have gone through breast cancer treatment, with women taking to the stage wearing swimwear and bikinis specially made for them by brands such as Anita Care, Amoena, Ágatha Ruiz de la Prada, Sunflair, Maryan Mehlhorn, Dolores Cortés, Román Peralta, Nuria González, Aurelia Gil and more.
The parade aims to launch a positive message that serves to reinforce the commitment to research and prevention of this disease. For this reason, 50% of the proceeds from ticket sales have been allocated to the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC), and to the Canarian Association against Breast and Gynecological Cancer.
