After perfecting our work from home wardrobe over the summer, we are now faced with a new challenge: making lounge sets and stay-at-home clothes appropriate for the outside world. Businesses, restaurants and bars are starting to re-open, which means transitioning our wardrobe for autumn in a way that is still comfy. Here are our favorite loungewear outfits that can be worn both inside and outside this autumn:
Oversized button down and leggings
When working from home it’s more than ok to hang out in leggings, bras and bralettes for comfort, but when you’re ready to head outside simply throw on an oversized button down. Add a pair of black mules and some minimal gold jewellery to complete this office-approved look.
Long sleeve knit dress
To transition cozy knits to life after quarantine, all you need to do is layer up and accessorise. A long-sleeve knit dress with a long wool overcoat is a match made in heaven for autumn – swap your slippers for some knee-high boots to keep your legs warm.
Straight leg pants and a cropped cardigan
Living in loose, comfy pants all summer does not have to end just because you’re leaving the house. To break up the loose silhouette and give yourself some shape, wear a form-fitting cropped cardigan or jumper, and a pair of sneakers adds a cool finish to this streetwear-inspired look.
Half-zip crop pullover and high-waisted jeans
When you’re at home, there’s nothing better than wearing a pair of sweatpants and a cozy half-zip pullover. To elevate the look slightly, swap your sweatpants for a pair of high-waisted straight leg jeans and black leather boots. A tan teddy cropped pullover will keep you warm while doing outdoor fall activities.
