Germany lingerie label ELAICE Couture has a fresh approach to lace, producing statement lingerie out of ‘leather lace’ that is tanned by the extracts of the rhubarb root. The brand distances itself from the “throw away society” and abides by the slow fashion rules, manufacturing sustainably with responsibility and respect towards humans and the environment. Products are designed and made in Germany using mostly fine rhubarb leather – cow nappa leather tanned by rhubarb root extracts – and small sections of stretch leather to guarantee an optimal fit.
