For Autumn/Winter 14, Made by Niki is weaving a spell inspired by the Grimm Brothers Fairytale ‘Hansel and Gretel’. A must for the winter social scene, the collection blends gingerbread, candy floss and liquorice swirls with a generous helping of candy cane stripes and a scattering of snowy crumbs.
Highlights include plunge bras galore, flattering stretch bodysuits, tingling fringed bodywear that caresses the skin in striped shimmering ombré colour, and body accessories crafted from flossy fur and puffed tulle. Two embroideries were designed for the collection, featuring galloping gingerbread horses and liquorice swirls, as well as a bespoke print featuring Hansel’s forest birds.
