This season Fleur of England returns to its roots with distinctly heritage inspired collections. Taking inspiration from Scottish roots and beautiful Georgian buildings, Autumn Winter ’14 tells the story of decadent days and seductive nights.
‘Heiress’ (pictured above) is a timeless beauty in platinum grey, a colour that will continue to captivate, in the finest silk satin and Italian invisible tulle. A wealth of detail is captured in the William Morris inspired embroidery, designed by Fleur and made exclusively for Fleur of England.
Inspired by Fleur’s Scottish heritage, Edinburgh uses the bespoke tartan print designed in-house for a quintessentially British look. Extravagant peacock tones are shown off in stunning luxury loungewear pieces – with the brand’s first full pyjama set in perfectly draped plaid, and are complimented by key pieces using the signature lace in bold kingfisher blue.
The ‘Hot Chocolate’ collection is created in a mouth-watering colour palette of rich chocolate brown, with a hint of aubergine. Liquid silk and hand-cut appliquéd French lace create the most feminine luxury collection. The perfect soft lilac hues of ‘Heather’, which compliment all skin tones, captures the mystery and romance of fading heather fields. Softest silk georgette drapes and ties complimenting the more dramatic shimmering Italian lace against tonal silk satin.
The ‘Caviar’ collection uses lavish ebony silk satin adorned with an intricate bespoke embroidery, daring panels of Italian invisible tulle and silk covered buttons, meant for undoing. Dramatic ebony, highlighted with a touch of vintage gold, make this collection perfect for the party season or a decadent night in with champagne and caviar.
