Charnos Hosiery celebrates National Stockings Day

by Underlines

Ditch the tights for a day and don your stockings for Charnos National Stockings Day! In support of Breast Cancer Care, Charnos Hosiery created National Stockings Day seven years ago to encourage woman to embrace wearing feel-good stockings and hold-ups and support a good cause.

There’s no doubt about the fact that as soon as you slip on a pair of stockings, or hold ups you instantly feel feminine. So, even if it’s just for one day, ditch the convenience of tights and live a little. After the success of last year’s traffic stopping show, Charnos Hosiery’s National Stockings Day will be returning once again on Friday 18 October, with a new theme: ‘Hold-up, it’s National Stockings Day – give Breast Cancer Care a leg up on 18th October’.

Alison Baines from Charnos Hosiery says: “After all the support and encouragement our stocking-istas received last year, it has spurred us on to make this year bigger and better in aid of Breast Cancer Care. The aim is to encourage woman to embrace wearing beautiful hosiery and feel good about themselves whilst doing it!”
