De Montfort University‘s Contour Fashion graduates saw their designs hit the catwalk at the Freemason’s Hall in London on Wednesday 3rd June. This collection is the result of a special project in the sectors of intimate apparel, swimwear, nightwear and loungewear, where students in their final year were asked to create an innovative capsule collection of 6 outfits for Autumn/Winter 2016.
Throughout its 68-year history, DMU’s Contour Fashion has been the driving force behind innovative solutions for the sector via advances in fabric technology, garment production and manufacturing methodologies. The course engages with fashion houses, retailers, manufacturers and suppliers while inspiring students to develop industry-level skills and channel their talent into breathtaking work. Twenty students showcased their capsule collections at the event, which can be seen below.
