The Hamptons – A graphical seagull print with a nautical feel
The 2016 Preview Collection from Maryan Mehlhorn opens the season with feminine and graphical styling displaying versatility, creativity and innovation. Influences from activewear such as zippers and mesh can be seen in the collection as well as a nautical inspiration, graphical motifs in the style of Mondrian, surreal effects on prints and a variety of new styles for briefs.
One of the highlights from the collection is Solarsurf (pictured below), a range of swimwear in a highly contemporary print with an iridescent interplay of powerful colours on a white background. This surreal look creates an up-market surfing style which finds its ultimate expression in a zipper swimsuit with mesh inserts and racer back.
