Colette Tebbutt, Managing Director at ITE Moda, has raised a huge £17,217 for charity Bowel Cancer UK by climbing to the top of Mount Kilimanjaro on 30 January. On her JustGiving page, Colette explained the difficulties of her challenge to climb the highest free-standing mountain in the world at 5.895m, which included altitude sickness, less than flattering clothing and a week without a proper shower.
Speaking of the once-in-a-lifetime experience, Colette said “the whole experience has taught me some very valuable lessons, not only that life is there to be lived and that it’s good to challenge yourself every now and then but also that when called upon my friends and family are true STARS!!!”
Way to go, Colette!!
