barepanties Launches Reusable Underwear and Destigmatizes the Conversation Around Menstruation and The Female Body

by Underlines

barepanties launches a line of reusable absorbency underwear aiming to curb the waste of single-use menstrual products and other disposable products that women of all ages utilize to control body leaks. The company also wants to destigmatize the conversation around female bodies and the changes mature women face once their period ends.

Co-founded by Bella, Conny and Lani; a trio of friends and family, spanning continents and generations with forty plus years of experience in lingerie collectively; barepanties is now available in nineteen countries.

We plan to alleviate billions of sanitary products from being thrown into landfills each year, while at the same time tackling the negative stigma around bodily leaks. Why should we tiptoe around the subject? All bodies leak!” – Lani

Ever so pretty, french mesh and lace, each shape offers comfort, security and style. The collection bursts with reds, purples and aquas. Using the highest grade organic fabrics including cotton, antibacterial bamboo, and recycled nylon, these designs have been engineered using four layers of smart moisture-wicking fabric with bonded seams; tried and tested and triumphant in controlling leaks.

We know that we can effect change and move the conversation forward towards a more considerate future. Our gorgeous undergarments offer all bodies an environmentally conscious alternative. Disposable sanitary products have led us to a wasteful and needless mode of living. We refuse to continue to participate.” – Conny
