French swimwear brand Chipote pas was founded with the goal of making the seaside better with exclusive, high-quality designs that make children happy. Chipote pas is the result of a union between two generations, a mother and her son, who wanted to combine their creativity and professional skills to start a brand that breaks the rules of children’s swimwear.
The brand founder, Annabel, is the daughter of an avant-garde Parisian with a pronounced taste for fashion, who was nourished throughout her childhood by a creative atmosphere that inspired her to create from a very young age. A designer at heart with a passion for mixing new materials, it was only natural that the idea of creating her own brand came to mind.
The second pillar of this family adventure is Warren, Annabel’s son, who was also inspired from a young age by a mother who transmitted to him a taste for beautiful things and an insatiable curiosity. Driven by his passion for entrepreneurship, Warren immediately sensed the potential of Chipote pas and decided to devote himself fully to this challenge at the end of his studies in Design & Marketing.
Design is an integral part of Chipote pas’ DNA and the brand places artists at the heart of the creation process. All designs are thought out and designed in the heart of Paris, with illustrations made by handpicked French artists such as Charlotte Smith and Oelwein, who share the same values and passion for the children universe.
The fabrics chosen are all printed in Italy and combine quality with innovation, offering UV protection and the OEKO-TEX® 100 certification which guarantees a fabric free of unwanted substances, irritants or allergens for children. Chipote pas also chose Tunisia, a country close to France, for the manufacture of its swimsuits, in order to better control the quality of the products and the treatment of their employees, as well as reducing transport and emissions as much as possible.
