This summer, Protest is experimenting with structures, textures and shine, using ruffles, ribbed fabrics, velvet and lurex details to bring bands of sparkle to the beach. The SS21 collection brings with it a kaleidoscope of colour in two colour palettes: the first has earthy tones like sandstone, clay and warm yellow, contrasted by a deep coral, while the second is made up of candy tones of pink, mint and an icy yellow matched with black, white and grey melange.
Luscious leaf prints are combined with bright florals to create designs that reflect the mood of the perfect summer. Ruffles are added to straps and across the chest, while ditzy floral prints add small explosions of colour to the swimwear. The SUP and Surf range fabrics include SPF50 and the entire collection is PFC-free, in an effort to reduce the use of this chemical and thereby limiting its harm to the environment.
