Deakin & Blue launches Liberty Print face masks

by Underlines

Women’s swimwear brand Deakin and Blue are focusing efforts into developing reusable and recyclable face masks featuring Liberty Prints. Deakin and Blue have developed an NHS-approved design for non-medical face masks which can be worn, washed and re-worn time and time again. The reversible face masks are made responsibly in East London from regenerated yarn ECONYL®, and feature adjustable ear loops for a comfortable fit.

Founder Rosie Cook says: “As lockdown measures begin to ease, many of us are likely to wear face masks as we go about our daily lives: commuting to work, popping into shops and interacting with others in daily activities. However, many existing mask options are not sustainable, comfortable or reusable. At Deakin and Blue we’ve been keen to reallocate our existing development and production efforts into something helpful which might also bring a small piece of joy: a little bit of heart-lifting Liberty print into the everyday.”
