Studio Pia’s SS20 collection draws inspiration from Aphrodite, the Greek goddess of love, beauty, pleasure, passion and procreation. Aphrodite is said to have been born off the coast of Cyprus, inspiring sea-themed embroideries and pearl accents in the collection, whilst paintings such as ‘Pygmalion et Galatée’ by Anne-Louis Girodet inspired the whimsical colour palette. “My vision was to design a collection of creative, investment pieces, which challenge preconceptions about ethical fashion aesthetics, and provide my customer with timeless luxury she can feel good about showing off,” says Pia.
