sloggi, the iconic bodywear brand owned by Triumph International, has promoted Alex Cara to the new role of Global Head of Omnichannel & welcomes a new senior hire, Paul Gautier, who will be taking over as the General Manager Northern Europe. Alex Cara joined sloggi in September 2017 and has led the Northern Europe group, successfully launching a number of new product initiatives whilst growing the overall business. Given his global background in business development, market knowledge as well as retail and e-com expertise, Alex has been asked to spearhead the growth and development of global retail and e-commerce channels for the brand from the Swiss global headquarters.
Joining the company on August 6th, Paul Gautier has 25 years experience in advertising, fashion and sports apparel, having worked in various countries across Europe, the United States and Oceania. Paul has worked in a variety of roles including Global Marketing Director and General Management roles within the PUMA group, and was a key figure in PUMA’s brand reposition and business turnaround.
Bringing a wealth of experience in General Management, Paul will be based in sloggi’s London Headquarters. With his strong track record, competitive spirit and the passion he brings to building and inspiring teams, Paul will be perfectly placed to drive sloggi’s aggressive growth plans for Northern Europe over the next year and beyond, as the brand continues its expansion.
