After the resounding success of their debut Beach Store in Karstadt (large German department store group), Lascana will be opening four beach shops in prime locations near Karstadt in the cities of Berlin, Dusseldorf, Frankfurt and Leipzig. New in the beach area in the Dusseldorf shop will be a digital changing room which was successfully trialed in the Karstadt Experience Store.
Karstadt purchasing director Jörg Peter Schmiddem commented: “Our customers accepted the concept very well, so that we were able to strengthen our textile expertise on the one hand and to rejuvenate our target group on the other. We look forward to further expanding the partnership with LASCANA. “
The BEACH SHOP comprises about 400 garments, characterised by the interweaving between the equally offered beachwear and swimwear within a lifestyle concept. Both product groups are offered in large width and depth, including swimwear in large sizes and cups (sometimes to F) offered. Summer tops, beach dresses, shirts, jumpsuits and shorts are the focus of beachwear. Swimwear is dominated by swimsuits and tankinis, and especially by mix-kini themes, where the customer can put together the bikini herself.
The assortment is changed every 14 days and constantly updated with novelties. LASCANA will continue to deliver every product in every size in 48 hours at the latest during the entire run time.
