Luxury plus size swimwear and lingerie retailer Viva Voluptuous, has pledged to take an active role in accelerating gender parity by promising to ‘forge positive visibility of women’ as part of the #pressforprogress campaign for International Women’s Day on 8th March.
The UK-based online company, founded and directed by business woman Liz Willis, will identify ways to make women more visible as part of its campaign to promote sexy and supportive lingerie and swimwear and extend opportunities to women first as part of its workforce. It aims to empower more women to become spokespeople for the brand and to show its support to those currently in positions of power who are trying to facilitate change.
Director of Viva Voluptuous, Liz Willis says: “We are thrilled to be adding our voice and support to
the vitally important #pressforprogress campaign in the lead up to International Women’s Day. In
light of the recent #MeToo campaign and other empowering feminist movements it’s a good time to
ensure that we are doing all we can to extend every opportunity to help our fellow females succeed,
and to eliminate the gap in gender equality that still exists in society today.”
