Joanne Bolton has joined Bluebella to drive a big expansion programme in America, taking up the position of wholesale manager. Bolton had previously been in charge of department store and all international sales at Gossard and Berlei, where she worked for nine years.
“This was an offer I could not refuse,” says Joanne, “Bluebella is such an exciting brand and I think it has got its product and pricing absolutely spot on. We are in a great position to really drive sales forward in the States and right across Europe – we have two fantastic agents on the East and West coasts and there is an exciting new PR plan for North America kicking off.”
Last year, Bluebella raised £1 million through crowdfunding to fund the international expansion and improve marketing in the UK. CEO Emily Bendell said: “We are thrilled that Jo has joined us. She has a fantastic reputation in the industry and will introduce our brand to millions of new customers across all markets but with a particular focus on the States.”
