Third and final year students at renowned De Montfort University were set a design project for 2023 in collaboration with Lounge Underwear.

The brief was to design a range of products for SS2023 with a collection of 6 outfits and a ‘hero’ outfit. Students were asked to consider sustainable design and elements principles, reduction of wastage, new consumer trends, size inclusivity (up to XXXL and 40G) and innovative fabrics (breathability, antibacterial, micro encapsulation….). The students were selected to present their garments, research and technical work at the Lounge Underwear’s Head offices in Solihull.
The winner was Ruby Godefroy, 2nd place Tierney Stoneman, 3rd place Eleanor Edwards and highly commended was Francisca Santos.
