Aubade – Power Dressing Revival!

The AW2023 Aubade collection is inspired by Power Dressing – a wardrobe for powerful, emancipated women celebrating the values of self-acceptance, inclusion and the increased autonomy of women.

Sensual colours, playful assembly and layering, delicate fabrics and silky shine overturn the codes of seduction, which now shift between sexiness and comfort, exuberance and sensuality. Look out for the striking colour palette of bold shades of green and ultraviolet tempered by the elegance of navy blue and anthracite. Glamorous, defiant red is edgy whilst shades of plum, chocolate and almond pink give a sugar-coated finish.

This ‘Metamorphoses’ Collection borrows from the power dressing of the 1980’s but is reinvented with a new mood of self-assurance combined with a sense of humour and seduction. Undertones of the fashion designer Thierry Mugler are seen as the inventor of the ‘glamazon’.
