Pride month kicks off next week, celebrating the LGBT community globally each June and promoting inclusivity and work to improve society’s attitudes around the world every year. British sock maker, Pantherella, is delighted to be amongst the brands showing support. However, with these communities requiring support all year round, Pantherella has been continuously donating to charity through the profits of its Shine sock for over two years now.
Partnering with local LGBT sexual health charity, Trade, Pantherella donates 10% of all sales of its unisex ‘Shine’ sock to the charity. The British brand has been making socks in the same family-owned factory in Leicester since 1937, making local charity, Trade, the perfect partner. The Leicester-based sexual health charity provides free and confidential health advice, information and services to support the LGBT community.
Part of Pantherella’s Sports Luxe range, the Shine sock features an iconic rainbow design, synonymous with the Pride movement. In either a cream or light grey mix, the Shine socks combine Pantherella’s signature quality with a sporty, athleisure aesthetic. Knitted from the finest Egyptian Cotton with a touch of Lycra for a perfect fit, fashion and function go hand in hand. A variety of special features such as a ventilated top, arch support and cushioned sole have also been added for all-day comfort.
