Today Heist, the foundation-wear brand famed for game-changing tights, shapewear and underwear, has launched a limited-edition pair with a vulva-print design in collaboration with The Lady Garden Foundation. Heist has created this bespoke print – The Lady Garden – in a sheer, sustainable 35 denier with its signature high waistband design in support of Gynaecological Cancer Awareness Month, championing the work that The Lady Garden Foundation does to raise funds to extend and improve gynaecological health, arming women and girls with the knowledge they need to break down these taboos.
Heist will donate 100% of net profits from all sales of The Lady Garden tights to the foundation and money raised will go towards cutting-edge studies and revolutionising the treatments for the 5 cancers conducted at The Royal Marsden which remains one of the largest cancer centres in Europe. As part of the launch, Heist and The Lady Garden Foundation has opened up conversations with their communities by inviting people to answer the question, “What do you call yours?” The film showcases people sharing their preferred names for their vagina, highlighting the importance of breaking down the stigma or shame around our bodies – and talking openly about them.
Heist’s mission is to support women everywhere and this launch aims to drive further awareness around the work that The Lady Garden Foundation does. Gynaecological cancers have devastating outcomes for women, with an average mortality rate of 44%. Out of the 58 women diagnosed with gynaecological cancer today, 21 of them will die. Understanding the symptoms will save lives, so we need to start talking today.
The Lady Garden vulva-print tights will be available to shop online exclusively at www.heist-studios.com for £26 from Thursday 23rd September 2021. Heist will donate 100% of net profits from sales with a minimum donation commitment of £1,000.
