Corin, as with many other European suppliers exporting to the UK, have been concerned about extra charges being levied on UK customers and no guarantee of prompt delivery.
From 25th February Julie Robb (JLR Agencies) will be the sole importer of core Corin products for the UK so the agency will handle clearance and upfront taxes on behalf of UK stockists of the brand. Initially JLR will hold a limited stock of the bestselling products (such as Virginia and Kylie here) but these stocks should be sufficient for rapid fulfilment. Even better news is that prices will be held level for the Spring season and the only delivery charge levied with be £5 (for orders under £100) – any order over £100 exc VAT will be carriage free.
Julie Robb commented: “Originally I was reluctant to become a distributor as I have always acted as agent for brands in the UK and from overseas but with the final departure from Europe we could see that the whole importing business was becoming increasingly difficult for our customers. It will of course give much more flexibility from stock ordering which can be despatched immediately. We are looking forward to this new arrangement and hope it will aid the growth of the brand which offers such a wide and deep range of cup and back sizes.
