It is with mixed emotions that Nicola Jane announce that Peter Lawrence is officially retiring from the company. Peter started Nicola Jane over 37 years ago with his wife Nikki and since then he has been instrumental in the growth and success of the business he is extremely proud of. The day to day running of the business will be passed to Melissa Muvuti, Operations Manager, and Claire-Marie, General Manager, with immediate effect. They bring with them over 16 years’ experience in this industry and as part of the Nicola Jane team.
Nicola Jane have recently announced that the company is joining the Milbank Group, a privately owned, hands-on investment company. As a business with family values, they are committed to retaining, nurturing and developing the people and businesses they invest in, and share a similar ethos to Nicola Jane in delivering excellent customer service and a commitment to a more sustainable business.
In Peter’s own words: “I am delighted that we have found a new owner who is committed to the long-term stability of Nicola Jane. I feel confident that the Milbank Groupwill continue to nurture the business, support the staff and care for the customer – all factors which have proved critical for our success over the past 37 years. It has been my honour to build Nicola Jane to what it is today, and I wish the future owners the very best in continuing and growing its legacy.”
