Sustainable swimwear brand Deakin & Blue donates 10% profits to the NHS

by Underlines

Sleek, sculpting and sustainable women’s swimwear brand Deakin and Blue is delighted to announce the launch of their new SS20 collection. Featuring new reversible styles, tan-friendly cuts and Liberty hero prints, this new collection promises all the sculpting, bust-supporting and sustainable qualities in a new exciting range of swimsuits and bikinis, with the brand also donating 10% of all collection profits to the NHS.

Founder Rosie Cook says: “I never imagined we would launch our latest swimwear collection during a global lockdown. However, whilst there are uncertain days ahead, there is a lot to be hopeful about: the power of community, the return to core human values and the selflessness of everyday heroes. We launch our new SS20 collection in this same spirit of hope – for happier, healthier and sunnier days ahead. We know that, for many of us, a holiday or a trip to the local pool may seem a long way off but we also know that we will meet again – on our beaches and at our lakesides, at the lido cafes after a Saturday morning set and in the parks after lazy afternoons playing in the pool.”

Deakin and Blue’s SS20 collection is made responsibly in East London using ECONYL®, a 100% regenerated nylon yarn made from ocean and consumer waste, as well as being shipped to customers in 100% recyclable packaging. Hyper-resistant to chlorine, salt-water, UV rays and oils, Deakin and Blue offers comfortable, flattering styles for a range of body shapes and sizes. Products are available in sizes 8-20 and designed in three silhouettes: the Hepburn (AA-B cup busts), the Monroe (C-E cup busts), and Hendricks (F-HH cup busts).
