Italian lingerie brand Chitè was born after the founders Federica and Chiara realised they shared a passion for timeless one-of-a-kind pieces. While getting ready for bed one night they realised they were wearing the same bra, which seemed crazy as they were completely different from each other. This made them think about how limited the options were for women, and after a day of brainstorming the first customisable underwear brand was born.
Their dream was to create a brand that allowed women to create something of their own, something that was right for them. “Our mission is to empower women by creating a space where they can redefine what sexy, beautiful and feminine really means. A space where women empower other women and where the female body is not sexualised or stereotyped but celebrated and taken care of. We aspire to redefine the meaning of “feminine” as this has been for ever related to being weak or just pretty. We believe being feminine is powerful and should be embraced.”
Each piece is hand-crafted in Italy and designed to feel like as you were wearing nothing at all. The collections are not only sophisticated but fun, luxury but also easy to wear, and women can create their very own pieces through the brand’s innovative online platform.
Seeking the new and unknown, the new Chitè collection introduces us to the explorer who travelled to new lands. Soft satins in shades of deep teal, burgundy and navy are contrasted with bright pinks and baby blues, while land, sea and air elements are woven through delicate tulle like watercolour on paper. Soft tulle and and lace trimmings add an extra touch of femininity for a timeless everyday wear.
