Contemporary womenswear show Scoop is delighted to announce its continued love and support of art and the Saatchi Gallery for its SS20 edition in a collaboration with young British artist Florence Hutchings.
Karen Radley, Founder and Managing Director of Scoop commented on the collaboration; “The symbiotic relationship between art and fashion continues to inspire me and my passion for supporting emerging talent. There is no better space for the creative work showcased at Scoop than the Saatchi Gallery and I am extremely pleased to be collaborating with Florence Hutchings this season. I am enchanted by her work, its colour, freshness and fun. As soon as I saw ‘Clothes on a Rail’ it captured my heart with its playfulness.”
Philippa Adams, Director of Saatchi Gallery adds: “When fashion and art meet up in one space the result is always very creative. It is really exciting to see how designers are being inspired by art for their current and upcoming collections. We are thrilled to welcome Scoop back at the Gallery for their 20th show with us.”
Referred to as the Millennial Matisse, Florence Hutchings, at just 24 years old and while still studying at Slade School of Fine Art in London, has already enjoyed success at a sold-out show at the Delphian Gallery and at the Saatchi Gallery’s blockbuster exhibition Kaleidoscope which ran from this March until 11 June.
