Lauma Fabrics, a major textile materials manufacturer for the lingerie industry in Europe, was awarded by the State Revenue Service of Latvia as the largest taxpayer in Kurzeme region, Latvia, in the group of average taxpayers in 2018. Latvia’s largest taxpayers were honored in 22 different nominations at the Grand Taxpayers Award Ceremony held on April 18, 2019.
“Lauma Fabrics has been one of the largest employers and taxpayers in Latvia for already more than 45 years. It is a great honor for us to be recognized,” said Edijs Eglins, General Manager and the Chairman of the Board of LSEZ Lauma Fabrics SIA.
Lauma Fabrics, a European Lingerie Group company, is one of the largest textile materials manufacturers for the lingerie industry in Europe, supplying more than 200 lingerie brands around the world. The company manufactures a wide range of lingerie materials – elastic and rigid warp-knit fabrics, elastic and rigid laces, embroideries, narrow bands and molded products. Lauma Fabrics employs more than 460 people and exports more than 80% of its products to more than 20 countries worldwide.
