MiLK Model Management, the leading modelling and influencer agency that is recognised for celebrating diversity and body positivity, is the subject of a two-part documentary, Curvy Girls Stripped Bare, which goes behind the scenes at the agency to give viewers an insight into the lives of their Curve Wall models.
Felicity Hayward and Sonny Turner reveal all about their lives in the spotlight and what it is like to model within the plus size sector of the fashion industry, an industry which is now said to be worth £4.7 billion a year.
As the world goes curvy-girl crazy, the models talk candidly about the impact modelling has had on their lives, and how they deal with anti plus size trolling.
Models Lauren Frederick, Charlotte Robinson, Joss Corona, Poppy Towers, Alo Hickey also feature within the documentary.
MiLK owner Anna Shillinglaw, who set up the agency with a handful of models seven years ago now has more than 100 ‘curvy’ girls on her books. She comments: “I am so proud of this documentary that shows there is a shift in the industry and that fashion should be inclusive. It’s funny and heartfelt and shows a sneak peak in to my world and into these amazing models.”
Within the documentary the plus size models are filmed wearing a selection of lingerie from online lingerie retailer, Figleaves.
The two-part documentary airs on 28th November at 10pm on Channel 5.
