Luxury activewear retailer Fashercise has launched a Curve edit to ensure they offer an inclusive range of sportswear to all women of all shapes and sizes. The new labels will expand the current offering from XS to 5XL including brands Rainbeau and DAY/WON. DAY/WON is an “all-size” label by American plus-size supermodel Candice Huffine, designed to empower women of all shapes and sizes, with high performance leggings and printed tops ranging from XS to 5XL (UK6-UK24). Rainbeau also hails from the USA and offers both the basics and fashionable pieces designed to flatter curves from sizes XL – 5XL (UK18 – UK 24).
Fashercise was founded by Alexandra Vanthournout and Camille Roegiers in 2014 to stock and champion the best independent activewear labels from around the globe online and in their London boutique.
Alexandra Vanthournout, co-founder of Fashercise: “Since the day we launched Fashercise, we’ve been very passionate about being an inclusive brand. We wanted to create a company that supports women throughout their journey to health and happiness, whatever their age, size or choice of workout. Whatever it is that makes a woman feel beautiful and confident on the inside and outside, we want to be a part of. For years, this has been an ethos we strongly believe in, but up until now we haven’t actually been able to offer it to our customers. In this industry, curvy women have often been left behind in the stylish activewear stakes, and this is something we’ve been working on fixing behind the scenes for a long time. The perception of what ‘fitness’ is, is changing, and we feel that the industry is finally catching on: yes, some fit women might have six packs and biceps, others have butts and big boobs. We strongly believe that fitness is no longer defined by size.”
