The latest conference from the ASBCI will examine what it means to be a business in the global fashion industry in the Age of Disruption, as the digital revolution transforms not only the way fashion is consumed but how it is designed, produced and marketed. The event will address the impact and potential of digital advances throughout the supply chain, with speakers discussing everything from digital design and collaboration to the rise of virtual technologies and the introduction of robotic systems.
The conference will be hosted by Dr Julie King, head of fashion for Northampton University and ASBCI event director. Jonty Wilson, head of global quality assurance at Asos, has been confirmed as key note speaker, while Sofie Willmott, senior channels analyst for Global Data, will provide a data-driven overview of how digital is changing the face of the sector.
The day will focus on delivering critical insights into not only which technologies are most relevant and effective but how best they can be implemented and applied to deliver genuine competitive advantage. This includes using digital technologies to address the complex fit challenges faced by brands and retailers, and how end-to-end solutions can help companies bring more styles to market, more often. The event will also address behavioural economics and the psychology of consumer interaction with digital technologies and how this can be used to maximise sales and customer engagement.
The conference takes place at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Leeds on Thursday 3 May. For more information please contact Lotte Debell on 07969440089 or lottedebell@gmail.com.
