Emilio Cavallini was inspired by the movie Blade Runner 2049 to design his Autumn/Winter 2018 legwear collection. The scenography and photography fascinated him so much that he decided to make the woman strong, mesmerizing and seductive, wrapping the whole body in fishnet leotards and seductive sheer burn-out patterns. The focus of the line are geometric cuts, highlighted by bright colours such as blue, red, yellow, orange and gold.
“Hosiery for me has never been a detail, it’s the heart of a specific aesthetic view,” says Emilio Cavallini. These words express the thoughts of the designer, who was the first to revolutionize the nature of women’s tights and men’s socks, turning this basic accessory into a unique garment that can transform any look.
