Vintage lingerie brand What Katie Did hosted a lock-in at their London Boutique on Portobello Road for a preview of their new Emily lingerie. Attending the event were models including Miss Deadly Red, Sam Elson (better known as the pinup and mental health blogger @blossomandbuttercups) and Miss Velvet Jones, who took part in a photoshoot in the Boutique before the doors officially opened.
The trio wore the latest designs from What Katie Did, including the new retro-inspired Coleen and Emily designs, and the iconic Glamour Nouveau Corselette, a vintage-inspired shaping body that is one of WKD’s bestselling pieces. They also modelled the new range of 1930s style loungewear, which is proving very popular this year. As well as What Katie Did’s newest lines, the lock-in was also an opportunity for bloggers and models of all shapes and sizes to give their input to the design team.
Katie Thomas, Founder of What Katie Did, said: “This event is a wonderful opportunity to bring together some of the best-known bloggers we work with, to hear their views on our product, and enable them to have a preview of what we will be releasing in the coming months.”
