Northern Ireland shapewear brand Cinch Corsets celebrated their first anniversary last month by notching up enviable sales across Ireland and securing leading Irish retailer, Arnotts, as a stockist. Set-up by Angela Hunter and Nicola Crawford, Cinch Corsets retails hand-stitched waist-training corsets made using the highest quality, breathable fabrics, designed to support the back while ‘cinching’ in the waist to instantly create curves and a flat tummy.
Since its inception the company has racked up thousands of online orders, with plans to grow into the UK and beyond. The business duo say their ongoing success is down to a dedication to quality and attention to detail:
“We are absolutely delighted to be today announcing that we are being stocked by one of the most respected and longest running department stores in Ireland. When we first began our journey of creating the brand Cinch Corsets, quality was our main priority. We had a vision of the top retailers in Ireland stocking our product and to have that happen in just over 12 months of trading is a dream come true,” said Nicola.
She continues: “We are now in the process of meeting with a number of UK stores in the hope of continuing our growth into this marketplace – where we are certain there will be as much demand as from the Irish market. I urge any store, big or small, to get in touch if they are interested in becoming a stockist.”
Arnotts’ Lingerie Buyer, Rachelle Hanley, commented: “From my first introduction to the product I was impressed by the quality, the packaging and the overall brand strategy. This is a niche product for which there is absolutely a demand and the fact that the company founders were local business people only added to the uniqueness of the brand.”
