Today Agent Provocateur unveils Abbey Lee Kershaw as their new face, timing with the release of The Neon Demon which she is starring in alongside Elle Fanning and Keanu Reeves. The AW16 collection is inspired by creative director Sarah Shotton’s idols: Bettie Page, Madonna, Helmut Newton’s power women, and represents the new focus of the brand – to cater to the modern woman with a range of pieces that can be mixed and matched for any occasion and at a variety of prices.
The actress, model, artist and musician was shot by star photographer Mario Sorrenti, who perfectly captured her sensuality in a series of black and white photos. “I was completely starstruck to work with Mario,” said Sarah Shotton, “I’ve never seen anyone work in the way that he did. He loves the brand and that really came through; he wanted to strip everything back – nothing but Abbey, the underwear, and that electric magnetism between them. It was an intensely sexy shoot.”
