New teen underwear brand Taylor + Rani designs reversible soft bras with matching bottoms that empower both the wearer and a sister in need across the world. The brand was started by textile design graduate Isobel Barclay, after travelling around Asia and South America and witnessing the plight of girls living in poverty around the world. Taylor + Rani was then created with the aim of promoting the universal sisterhood, offering beautiful underwear to make the transition from being a girl to a woman a more fun experience but also helping underprivileged girls get access to good health and hygiene.
Working together with charities including Smalls for All, which helps girls in Zimbabwe, Malawi and Sierra Leone stay in education longer, Taylor + Rani donates a pair of knickers for every pair purchased and a monetary donation for every bra purchased, which goes towards providing sanitary products for girls so that they do not have to halt their education on hitting puberty. The brand is also in conversation with some other charities in India and South East Asia to explore the possibility of working together.
Taylor + Rani underwear comes in four different shape bras, all made from super soft modal and four way stretch LYCRA®, featuring meticulous details such as contrasting thread stitchwork and heart-shaped bra sliders. All bras are reversible and the brand also offers a choice of briefs and boyshorts in matching prints.
