Juan-Les-Pins recently saw the launch of a pop-up shop showcasing the very best of Brazilian swimwear. Located between Nice and Cannes, the town attracts jet-setters from across the world and was the perfect background for the initiative organised by the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil), the Brazilian Association of Fashion Designers (ABEST) and the Brazilian Association of the Textile and Apparel Industry (ABIT).

Done in partnership with the Brazilian Bikini Shop, known for selling Brazilian swimwear with a focus on the European and North American markets, the pop-up store features 16 brands: Agua de Coco, Blue Man, Cecilia Prado Mare, Cyann, Despi, Kiminis, La Playa, Lenny Niemeyer, Limonada, Lua Morena, Maryssil, Mar Rio and Sauipe Swimwear, Salinas, Triya and Vix Swimwear.

“The swimwear made in Brazil stands out due to the innovative cut and fit, creative finishings, sophisticated materials and high-tech production,” says Apex-Brazil’s Export Manager Christiano Braga. “Our strategy for 2015 is to strengthen the presence of Brazilian beachwear brands in Europe, as up until now we were very focused on the US. Juan-Les-Pins is a strategic target to position our product and attract both consumers and the international press.” The shop will be open until September 10th 2015. Pictures courtesy of Texbrasil.
