Luxury Heritage brand, Lucile, has opened its first London showroom in the exclusive Bermondsey Street moments away from the The Shard and opposite the famous Fashion and Textile Museum, where original Lucile pieces and sketch books dating back to 1880 are documented and on display.
Camilla, the great great granddaughter of the luxury label commented “we are thrilled to be here in Bermondsey Street, we love the street, and having original Lady Duff Gordon and Lucile dresses across the road from the LFM is just fantastic. The label has been growing rapidly by word of mouth and we can now extend the Lucile following much further.”
All Lucile collections are hand cut and hand made in England, in both London and Derbyshire, where the patterns are created. Lucile private fittings will now take place in Bermondsey Street where clients can browse through all the collections and patterns and choose something exclusive and bespoke. Customers can also browse exclusive rtw and bespoke designs by couturier, Amanda Thompson.
