The sale of the Vanity Fair Lingerie European business is being considered by its parent company Fruit of the Loom. (according to Spanish online trade newsletter Modaes.es)
The company was restructured during 2013 and 2014 and now operates the Vanity Fair brand as well as Bestform, Variance and Lou brands but reported a 10% sales drop in 2014 (to 57m Euros). The business ceased operating with 3 of its Spanish brands (Intima Cherry, Gemma and Belcor) but is still jointly managed from Paris and Barcelona incurring extra operational costs.
