The Catwalk Edit kick-started London Fashion Week with over 50 brands showcasing their new collection at the Chelsea Old Town Hall this week. The brands included a mixture of women’s RTW, lingerie, swim, accessory brands and emerging designers, and each brand had their own rail during the event to promote more interaction between the designers, buyers and press.

Visitors had the opportunity to watch 8 fashion shows throughout the day, which started with young designers such as Alina Stanila, Eve Daeche, Bhapinder Ballagun, Jessica Goddard, Olga Profutkina, Emily Patten, followed by the Ready to Wear and Accessories catwalk show including Little White Lies accessorised with Black & Brown London, Komodo, At Last…London, Girl With Beads, among others.

Sponsored by Ipanema footwear, the Swimwear catwalk show featured designs from Amoir Camaira, La La Land accessorised with Delight London (pictured below), Artemis South, Ines Klim, Bhavna, Mona, Vevie, Buddhafly London, Rose Powder and Emma Iveson, followed by 2 lingerie catwalk shows presenting head turning designs by Raine and Bea, Bluebella, Playful Promises, Kiss Me Deadly, Pure Chemistry, Petits Bisous, Gilda & Pearl, Betty Blue’s Loungerie, Emma Harris and Karolina Laskowska (pictured below).

Founder of The Catwalk Edit, Joseph Bachman, comments “After the huge success of our debut event and the positive response we have received from press, buyers and the participating brands, The Catwalk Edit will be making a return in February 2015 with even more designers and catwalk shows.  I would like to say a big thanks to my team at Calico Ventures and our sponsors.  I would also like to thank the brands who participated, you all are very talented individuals and we are pleased to help you get the exposure you deserve.”
