Fit Britches is on a mission to bring its manufacturing back to the UK, supported by a crowdfunding campaign that will see the brand’s launch in the US this month. The campaign will see the Bradford-founded brand introduced to a target US customer base, as well as familiarizing consumers with founder Farnaz Khan’s impressive journey from experimenting with the effects of heat and cling film whilst struggling to lose baby weight, to the development of an innovative range of slimming products.
Fit Britches’ aims for the campaign include acquiring a US customer base to back the brand financially by buying into the concept and pre-ordering products ahead of their official stateside release. Funds acquired will then be used to return Fit Britches manufacturing to the UK, a focus that Fit Britches is keen to place heavy importance on.
“At Fit Britches we are passionate about supporting UK manufacturing, which works hand in hand with creating and developing jobs, skills, supply and the economy in the UK. We Brits are leaders in innovation, and I feel strongly about supporting and reviving the country’s buoyant textiles industry and heritage,” says founder Farnaz Khan.
