WATERWORLD: DISCOVERING SS 2026 TRENDS WITH DAVID SHAH
Waterworld: the central theme of trend forecasting for summer 2026 proposed by David Shah who will present style directions in two not-to-be-missed sessions scheduled on 5 and 6 November at 11.00am. As always in his highly anticipated Trend Talks, Shah will take visitors by the hand to discover beach, intimate and athleisure trends with a deep and sociological vision that then flows into a detailed stylistic, material and colour forecast.
All trade show visitors will receive exclusive access to TREND BOOK 2026 and the trend presentation video.

The designers of the future test themselves in the creation of beach, underwear and athleisure collections. All the beauty of pure creativity, no strings, no barriers, projection of dreams, in which healthy creative madness prevails. A traditional event to recognize and celebrate the value of companies with a long and prestigious history in the underwear and beachwear universes, the “MarediModa Creative Excellence Awards” for 2024 will be given to Melissa Odabash and Aguaclara.
An international award that aims to highlight the coolest companies on the global market that operate with a virtuous and responsible approach. To Melissa Odabash, a leading British brand, for its ability to combine high fashion with swimwear wearability, offering designs that are both luxurious and contemporary while maintaining a timeless aura of sophistication. In Aguaclara, a Peruvian brand known worldwide for its creativity, sophistication, and enhancement of high-quality printed fabrics. Together with elegant design for a harmonious and enveloping style.
FLASH and SEAM PROJECT
Fabrics that become prototypes. Creativity unveiled and revealed. The Flash project, in its third edition, is growing and the idea is to tell the story of fabrics through prototypes to produce and promote a new expressive language with photos and videos that can best enhance them to inspire and engage. In parallel, the spin-off SEAM, an exhibition area dedicated to the savoir-faire of the contract garment makers present at the fair
ATH PROJECT
Among the exclusive projects tagged MarediModa, ATH certainly represents the one that most digresses outside the traditional language but now seems to be part of it because sports-inspired clothing has never been so inclusive. Today it draws from a wide variety of fields, and jersey fabrics, the exhibitors at Cannes with their technology and high stylistic edge, are also at home in this environment. In the ATH Project area, innovative fabrics from nine industry leaders are transformed into athleisure garments that anticipate tomorrow’s trends. Created by ISGMD, the fashion academy partner of the fair, the garments in the ATH gallery are designed to inspire and to anticipate, to ignite a visionary spark about the athleisure to come.
